5 of the Most Instagrammable Restaurants in the Twin Cities

If you can’t choose a restaurant without thinking about how it will look on Instagram, you’re not alone. There are plenty of places for you to dine in the Twin Cities where you can find friends who are happy to help you with your social media habit while you eat delicious food. Here are 5 of our favorite and frequently Instagrammed restaurants.

Penny’s Coffee (Minneapolis and Wayzata)

How did this popular coffee spot rapidly expand to 3 locations? Part of their success has to be their viral neon sign with a big hand making the A-OK gesture. It also helps that Penny’s serves delicious coffee, as well as beer and wine. While the menu is not extensive, the crepes are delicious and the lavender latte is soothing if you’ve had enough coffee for one day.

Glam Doll Donuts (Minneapolis)

It’s not just a donut, it’s a work of art. Plus, Glam Doll provides a photo booth on site, and a rotating collection of work by artists in the Twin Cities area. You can lounge on the patio or on the massive pink couch as you contemplate your order.

Betty Danger’s Country Club (Minneapolis)

It’s kooky! Betty Danger’s is also one of those rare places where you can ride a Ferris wheel while you enjoy your meal. If you’re afraid of heights, there’s also a miniature golf course. The food is Tex-Mex, and the decor is unusual.

Revival (Minneapolis and St. Paul)

For fried chicken and other Southern staples, head to the original Revival in Minneapolis or their second location in St. Paul. The newer location is also famous for its wallpaper, a gold pattern that looks like giant cat paws.

Octo Fishbar (St. Paul)

Octo Fishbar serves global seafood in a casual setting. You’ll love the James Beard award-winning chef Tim McKee and the swimming fish mobile.
