Finding a decent appliance repair school is a tough task for anyone trying to get into our field. There is a successful training facility located in Northeast, Ohio called Fred’s Appliance Academy. Founded in 2008, Fred’s Appliance Academy has trained nearly 1,000 students on the basic fundamentals of appliance repair. The goal is to get new blood into the workforce as many qualified technicians are nearing retirement age.
At Twin Cities, we pride ourselves in ensuring our staff gets the latest training so we have a soft spot in our heart for any school training new technicians. We recently donated a tool backpack for the recent graduating class of March 2017. This gift was for the student with the top score in the class. We wish everyone the best who graduated from Fred’s Appliance Academy.
