I appreciated the fast service that Twin Cities Appliance could come the next day and that they also had the pump part needed at the assessment visit.However, after trying to get the dishwasher out for about 5 or 10 minutes, he started putting everything back in (dish, racks, etc.) and said if we could get it out ourselves then they could come back and fix it. I then had a neighbor rush over who is handy and he was able to see that a foot of the dishwasher had been screwed in when it was installed, and when it still wouldn’t come out, then, my neighbor took the gasket off to assess the situation further and could see where it was catching and was able to troubleshoot and remove some non-essential trim piece around the screw to get access to loosen the screw andremove the dishwasher. Then the repair was able to get completed in the same visit instead after the dishwasher could pull out, instead of having to come out for another visit. I was surprised he was not able to call the main office and talk through some things and figure out what might be the issue getting the dishwasher out and so I was very thankful for a handy neighbor who was able to come over and figure it out.!!! But I am sorry for folks who don’t have a handy neighbor in this situation when the company should be able to figure it out together or talk things through on the phone or video call.
