Minneapolis
Like most Twin Cities residents, we are excited to leave the long dark of winter behind. As we launch fully into spring, we look forward to more than just the rising temperatures and the increased hours of daylight.
We also anticipate enjoying some of the fantastic festivals coming our way quite soon.
May
Now in its 86th year, the annual Festival of Nations has brought life and culture from around the world right here to our city. This event is simply packed with options. Whether you attend one of the live performances, sample tasty treats, engage with other cultures in the exhibition hall or shop in the international marketplace and bazaar, you will enjoy your time at the festival.
On weekends throughout the month, join the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association for Art-A-Whirl, an open-studio tour that allows area residents to visit studios and galleries. Along the way, the public can connect with artists and performers themselves, fostering connections and bridges to the arts. The event is free and fully inspiring.
For More
If nothing you see here is quite to your taste, you can always check Meet Minneapolis for a complete list of seasonal events. There’s a lot to do in our city, and we’d hate to see you miss anything.
We look forward to seeing you out there.
Happy spring!
