You’ve survived another long, cold winter of treacherous driving, parking restrictions, and back-breaking shoveling! Summer in the Twin Cities is the reward, in part for its many festivals and events. Here are three:

A Twin Cities mainstay since 1940, the Minneapolis Aquatennial “is the official civic celebration of the City of Minneapolis”. Returning to US Bank Stadium for a third consecutive year, X Games, will again feature international skateboard, BMX, and Moto X competitions, alongside musical performances by The Blind Shakes, Chevy Metal, Diplo, Incubus, P.O.S., SWMRS, and Wu-Tang Clan. Let no one doubt where the action in Minneapolis will take place the first week of August!
